When a bioengineering company develops an anti-alcoholiism serum, they try it out on a number of homeless bums with severe drinking problems.  One of the subjects, an old amnesiac they call Patient Thirteen, doesn't just get better, he begins to become younger!  When Thirteen disappears, the clinic's parent corporation, a ruthless international conglomerate with a nasty reputation, sends out its agents to find Thirteen and bring him back, alive or dead.

Ex-Marine Lucky O'Donnel finds Thirteen and befriends him, little knowing that he has unleashed a storm of violence and greed, not to mention unearthing the secrets of an ancient, lost civilization.
